SUICIDE OR MURDER
Kurt Cobain's case should be reopened
In April 1994 Kurt Cobain was found dead in his Seattle home. Sadly he was the victim of a slapdash investigation. Cobain was found shot in the head and the cops ruled his death a suicide. The facts suggest murder. Here are just a few reasons why this case should be reopened.
Cobain apparently had 3 times the lethal dose of heroin in his blood and intravenous puncture marks in both arms. Medical experts will tell you that such an amount, when injected directly into the bloodstream will leave you incapacitated and cause you to lapse into a coma within seconds, if not kill you instantly before the needle can even be removed from your arm. How could he shoot a gun in that condition?
According to the police report, there were no "legible" fingerprints on the shotgun, which may indicate the gun had been wiped or cleaned. Also no fingerprints on the pen found with the "suicide" note, or the box of shotgun shells found beside Kurt.
Mentors singer Eldon Hoke (aka "El Duce") claimed he was offered cash by Cobain's wife Courtney Love to kill her husband. Hoke passed a polygraph test with 99.7% certainty that he was telling the truth. Hoke died suspiciously as his claims were gaining crediblity.
Love had motive to kill Cobain. According to Private Investigator Tom Grant, Cobain was in the process of leaving Seattle and his wife when he was found dead.
Love's "party friend" Dr. Hartshorne preformed Cobain's autopsy and insists Cobain died from a self-inflicted shotgun wound. Hartshorne's credibility has been questioned due to the obvious conflict of interest
These facts just scratch the surface. There have been movies, TV shows and books questioning what really happened. Countless websites also look for answers. Perhaps someday Cobain will get justice.

BOTM
The Game & Lil’ Wayne wrong: Hit song My Life suggests Cobain shot the bullet that killed him
First off, it's highly unlikely that Kurt Cobain was done in by a bullet. A more likely scenario is that Cobain was already dead or in a coma when the bullet hit him. And the person who pulled the trigger pumped three times the lethal limit of heroin into Cobain's veins before shooting him. Cobain couldn't have even had time to pull the needle out after the hit he took. The Game and Lil' Wayne do no favors when they accuse Cobain of killing himself. The message that needs to be spread is that, Cobain's case must be reopened. There is strong evidence that suggests he was murdered. In fact Cobain is a victim of The System, the same system that I've always assumed rappers like these despised. Let's spread the truth: Justice 4 Kurt

BOOK REVIEW
Love & Death: The Murder of Kurt Cobain
Investigative journalists Max Wallace and Ian Halperin put forward a very plausible scenario whereby Courtney Love hired a killer to murder Kurt Cobain and make it look like suicide. The evidence is plentiful and the motive is substantial. Kurt had begun the process of removing Courtney from his will and they were heading for divorce. Had he been able to follow-through, she would have been entitled to none of his millions. As a result of his 'suicide' she received everything. No fingerprints at the scene, a man with a triple-lethal dose of heroin in his body rolling down his sleeves, tidily putting away his
paraphernalia and then shooting himself in the mouth is simply not a plausible scenario. Far more likely is that someone injected him, killed him, and then made it look like suicide. Read this book and the truth will be self-evident. Hopefully enough to reopen the case.

DVD REVIEW
Nirvana: Unplugged In New York
Filmed just a few months before Kurt's death, this DVD is an excellent showcase of Cobain's genius as a musician and songwriter. It features the original MTV broadcast as well as an entertaining unedited version of the actual show. The unedited version features fun between song banter, a couple mistakes (which were edited for the broadcast
version), and the original song order, as well as extra songs. It's a great recording complimented with nice smooth camera transitions. The band clearly put much thought and practice into this impressive performance, which was a major breakthrough for Nirvana and brought them many new followers. It’s depressing to think about the music we've been deprived of due to Cobain's untimely death.
